Aenib clarifies uncertainties regarding the new statement of conditions by APB
In the light of recent publication by the Balearic Port Authority (APB) of the new statement of conditions for the commercial service of maintenance and repair of ships and yachts in the ports of Palma, Alcúdia, Mahon, Ibiza and La Savina, the Association of Nautical Companies in the Balearics (AENIB) has deemed necessary to clarify any doubts the associates may have regarding this new stance by the APB. For this reason, it has called a meeting to answer any questions this legal modification may have raised among its associates.
As customary in the current health situation, this meeting will take place online. The webinar, to which the associates of AENIB will have free and exclusive access, will take place this Thursday 28th of January at 10.00. During the meeting the technical team of the association, led by José Luis Favos, will respond to questions by the members. In order to speed up the presentation, AENIB requests the members to send their questions in advance to the association´s email address: secretaria@aenb.es.
Favos maintains fluent communication with the Balearic Port Authority and emphasizes that “Without a doubt this meeting will be of great importance and a unique opportunity to get an understanding of the new working structure that the companies operating on the islands will have to face. To explain the criteria for this new and complex process is not easy, but we hope to be able to clarify any doubts that come up in this meeting”.
José Luis Favos is responsible for the technical issues and internationalization at ANEN, with a degree in industrial engineering from the Technical University of Valencia. He is an expert in nautical consulting, having worked in numerous nautical companies, yacht clubs and marinas.
