Due to the evolution of the pandemic, the Association of Nautical Companies in the Balearics (AENIB) has decided to cancel the presential Annual General Meeting that was meant to be held on the 18th of February with a celebration of the traditional gala dinner and presentation of awards. However, the association has not resigned to simply reduce the event to an online connection, but has opted to plan a presentation by the professor of Applied Economics at the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB), doctor Antoni Riera.

The event will take place on the 4th of March at 17 hrs through the online platform Zoom and will start with the above-mentioned conference ´Navigating in the post-Covid scene´, in which doctor Riera will give the key points of the economic situation after the pandemic. In continuation, the Annual General Meeting of the association will take place. With this initiative, AENIB aims to gather the associates together with the representatives of ANEN. The presentation is an opportunity to give added value to the members and to boost participation. The event is limited to associates only, who can connect, follow the presentation and posterior meeting, by registering beforehand with the secretary of the association.
