AENIB welcomes the new Director General of ANEN

As of 1st February, the Spanish Association of Nautical Companies, ANEN, welcomes Jordi Carrasco to its management team in the position of Director General. Carlos Sanlorenzo, Secretary General of the Association since 2013, will continue to perform his duties as legal advisor and institutional representative.

With the incorporation of the new Director General, ANEN takes a further step in its professional management, in response to the growth of its activities and its increased role in the blue economy.

Until his appointment, the new Director General has been Manager of the Real Club Náutico Calpe. Jordi is a graduate in Business Administration and Management from the University of Valencia and a well-known professional in the nautical sector and tourism. He has held positions of responsibility in different organisations related to nautical activities such as the Association of Nautical Clubs of the Valencian Community, the Sailing Federation of the Valencian Community and has been a member of the technical committee of AENOR, which is the entity responsible for drafting the rules that determine the granting of the "Q for quality" to nautical sports facilities. He is an expert in the management of marine facilities and in organizing events related to both national and international water sports and nautical activities.

Also involved in education and training, he collaborates as a lecturer in the Degree in Business Administration at the CEU Cardenal Herrera University and in the Master's Degree in Sports Business Management at the Polytechnic University of Valencia.
