The Balearic Islands Nautical Business Association (AENIB) will once again join forces with the National Association of Nautical Companies (ANEN) to participate in the 40th anniversary of the Palma International Boat Show. This prestigious event is scheduled to take place from April 25th to 28th at the Moll Vell in the Balearic capital.

On Friday, April 26th, the AENIB/ANEN booth will host activities such as the presentation of the Teconaut Project, a panel discussion with representatives from the Centre de la Mar, and a casual vermouth gathering.

As every year, AENIB will offer different professionals and associated companies an option to hold meetings at the booth, as well as to store personal belongings. They will also provide a distinctive quality seal to exhibiting members to attach to their booths, thus acknowledging their patronage collaboration and strengthening the sector's image of unity.

Palma, April 23rd. As every year, the Association of Nautical Companies in the Balearic Islands (AENIB) will have a prominent presence alongside ANEN at the Palma International Boat Show (PIBS), which marks its 40th edition this year. This event once again positions Palma at the heart of the international nautical scene from April 25th to 28th.

Naturally, our association will host its own stand at the exhibition, shared with the National Association of Nautical Companies (ANEN), of which we form a part. Within this space, various initiatives will be launched to further support nautical sector companies in the archipelago, along with hosting several meetings, talks, and presentations.

12:15 Roundtable with Centre de la Mar

12:50 Signing of the Sea Teach-Soib Agreement – Sea Teach Stand

13:00 Drinks & snacks

As scheduled, on Friday the 26th, at noon, the AENIB/ANEN booth will host the presentation of the Teconaut Project, an initiative led by Jordi Carrasco and Christian Esteva, with the support of prominent partners. The aim is to promote the use of disruptive technologies to facilitate the ecological transition of the nautical sector. Specifically, the goal is to train a new generation of skilled workers connected to boat construction companies, medium-sized or start-ups, that are implementing innovative solutions to improve sustainability in the shipbuilding sector. More information about the project can be found on the website https://teconaut.eu/es/.

Next, a discussion panel will convene, featuring representatives from the Centre de la Mar, a nautical training institution under the auspices of the Balearic Islands Employment Service (SOIB), and the Integrated Vocational Training Center (CIFP) specializing in the nautical sector. The Centre de la Mar serves as the National Reference Center for Vocational Training in the maritime domain, affiliated with the National Network of Vocational Training Reference Centers. It offers formal training in maintenance and repair of sports and recreational boats, as well as various training options for employment: dual training, Professional Certificates, and training specialties.

To finish off, at one o'clock in the afternoon, a vermouth will be offered as an appetizer, during which the AENIB booth will take on a more relaxed and playful tone.

On the other hand, at the AENIB booth, professionals and companies interested in doing so will have access to a space within the show to hold their meetings. Interested parties simply need to make a request to the organization via email at secretaria@aenb.es. Associates will also be able to use the refrigerator and store their personal belongings in a locker provided by AENIB at the stand.

Moreover, associated exhibiting companies can collect a distinctive quality seal at the stand, accrediting them for their patronage collaboration, thus reinforcing the sector's unified image.

Additionally, over the weekend, tables, paints, and templates related to nautical themes will be set up at the booth, allowing children to be entertained while adults make the most of the fair. There will also be a photo booth where children can pose as nautical professionals, putting their faces on figures such as captains, mechanics, and nautical carpenters.

The PIBS stands out as a premier event in the global nautical industry, drawing in thousands of professionals worldwide annually. It serves as an ideal platform for nautical enterprises in the Balearic Islands to showcase the superior quality of their services, products, and professionalism. Through its active involvement, AENIB reaffirms its commitment to the show as a key meeting point for the Balearic nautical sector, a cornerstone of the islands' economy. Moreover, besides encouraging industry players to participate, it extends an invitation to the public to explore the show and uncover the wealth of opportunities offered by the nautical industry to the Balearic Islands, being one of the vital economic engines for the region.
