The Spanish National Association of Nautical Companies (ANEN) has released key findings from its second Perception Study on the State of the Nautical Sector in Spain for the second half of 2024.

The Spanish boat market closed the first quarter of 2025 with a total of 841 recreational boat registrations, a 15.9% decrease compared to the same period last year, when 1,000 boats were registered.
The Balearic Islands, historically one of the driving forces of Spain’s nautical sector, recorded 66 recreational boat registrations by the end of February 2025, according to the monthly report by ANEN.
