AENIB joins forces with other associations from the nautical sector in the new Federation of Associations and Nautical Activities for Environmental Issues, which will work as a joint intermediary on environmental issues.
Against all odds, during the first month of 2023, 30 recreational boats were registered in the Balearic Islands, an increase of 25% compared to January last year, when 24 registrations were recorded.
A total of 1,080 recreational vessels have been registered in the Balearic Islands in 2022, representing a slight decrease of 6.25% compared to the previous year, when the figure amounted to 1,152 registrations.
The archipelago has recorded a year-on-year decline of 5.1% in recreational boat registrations between January and October, compared to a fall of 16.2% in Spain as a whole.
Between January and September 2022, 1003 recreational boats have been registered in the Balearic Islands, representing a slight decrease of 5.64% over the same period last year.
