The Balearic Ports has denied Astilleros Cabanellas the extension of the administrative concession by which it has been operating since 1959.

Between January and October 2021, recreational yacht registrations in the islands have increased by 15% year-on-year, to 1,097 units, 145 more than registrations in the same period last year.
