Tickets and professional passes for the Palma International Boat Show are now available for purchase.
Digitalisation is here to stay at the Palma International Boat Show. The sale of tickets and professional passes will only be made through the websites www.palmainternationalboatshow.com and www.boatshowpalma.com to make it easier for visitors to buy and avoid possible queues at on-site ticket offices.
One of the novelties is that people buying a ticket will have to choose the day they want to visit the show as well as the time slot (in the morning from 10.00 to 15.00 or in the afternoon from 15.00 to 20.00). This is to enable the organisers to ensure a greater flow of visitors to the exhibition while guaranteeing the security of the site at all times. This system will also prevent people from going all on the same day.
We must remember that the show has a controlled capacity this year due to the
pandemic. In other words, only 1,500 people will be able to attend the show at the
same time, with thousands of visitors expected throughout the day. In order to ensure
a safe event and minimise possible waiting times for access to the showgrounds,
screens at the three entrances to the grounds will display the capacity at all times.
Single tickets cost €10. Trade visitors who can prove their status will be able to
purchase passes that will give them access to the show on all days for €50.
Access requires scanning the QR code on the ticket, which visitors can carry with them
on paper or on their mobile phones. Once people’s tickets have been validated against
a valid identification document, their temperature will be taken to avoid contagion, so
that visitors can calmly enjoy all the Palma International Boat Show has to offer.
The Palma International Boat Show will be held between 3 and 6 June in Palma's Moll
Vell, and will be the sector's first on-site event after a year marked by the pandemic.
The PIBS is organised by the Institute for Business Innovation of the Balearic Islands
(IDI), a body under the authority of the Ministry of Energy Transition, Productive
Sectors and Democratic Memory, together with the Balearic Yacht Brokers Association
(BYBA). With more than 35 editions, it has become one of the most internationally
recognised nautical events, and the one that opens the Mediterranean nautical
season. Further information at www.palmainternationalboatshow.com and
